Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of HoneSmith, including our website, mobile app, AI-assisted coaching features, project planning tools, content, and related services. By using HoneSmith, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms are a working launch draft. Have counsel review them before public launch, especially subscription, refund, governing law, AI, and safety language.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use HoneSmith. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use HoneSmith only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

What HoneSmith Provides

HoneSmith provides cosplay project planning, coaching, educational content, AI-assisted suggestions, material and tool guidance, safety reminders, and related creative workflow tools. HoneSmith does not provide professional engineering, medical, legal, occupational safety, chemical safety, or emergency advice.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current.

Subscriptions And Purchases

Some HoneSmith features may require payment, a subscription, or an in-app purchase. Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, trial terms, and cancellation options will be shown before purchase.

If you purchase through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another app store, billing, cancellation, and certain refund rights may be handled by that platform. If you purchase directly from HoneSmith, billing and cancellation will be handled through the checkout provider identified at purchase.

User Content

You may upload or create project plans, notes, images, measurements, feedback, prompts, and other materials. You retain ownership of your content. You grant HoneSmith a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, display, reproduce, modify, and use your content as needed to operate, provide, improve, secure, and support HoneSmith.

You represent that you have the rights needed to upload and use your content and that your content does not violate another person's rights, privacy, intellectual property, or applicable law.

AI Outputs

HoneSmith may generate AI-assisted content. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, unsafe, outdated, or unsuitable for your specific project. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and adapting AI outputs before relying on them.

Safety-Sensitive Activities

Cosplay building can involve sharp tools, power tools, sanding dust, heat, fumes, resins, solvents, adhesives, paints, aerosols, electrical components, and other hazards. You are responsible for using appropriate training, supervision, protective equipment, ventilation, manufacturer instructions, safety data sheets, and local laws.

Acceptable Use

Do not use HoneSmith for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or unsafe purposes.
Do not upload content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
Do not use HoneSmith to create dangerous instructions without appropriate safety controls.
Do not attempt to bypass security, access another user's account, scrape the service, or disrupt HoneSmith.
Do not misrepresent AI outputs as professional advice or guaranteed results.

Third-Party Links

HoneSmith may link to external websites, sellers, tools, tutorials, products, or suppliers. External resources are provided for convenience and education. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, products, policies, safety practices, or availability. If we receive compensation from affiliate, sponsored, or partner links, we will disclose that relationship.

Intellectual Property

HoneSmith, including the app, brand, design, text, software, and related materials, is owned by HoneSmith or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit HoneSmith except as allowed by these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to HoneSmith if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, misuse the service, or if we discontinue the service. You may stop using HoneSmith at any time.

Disclaimers

HoneSmith is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that HoneSmith will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or suitable for every project. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HoneSmith will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal injury, property damage, or project failure arising from your use of HoneSmith. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide notice as required by law. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
